Reflexology
What is Reflexology?
It is an ancient therapy which has origins in many countries including China, Egypt and India.
A Reflexology treatment consists of specific pressure techniques that work on precise reflex (acupressure) points on the hands, feet and ears. This stimulates body parts, cleanses the system and improves energy flow.
How can Reflexology Help You?
As Reflexologist I do not diagnose patients and I do not claim to cure sickness! Reflexology has a balancing effect on normal, everyday bodily functions. These functions include improving your:
Circulation
Digestion
Lymphatic system
Nervous System
Muscular
Reproductive System
Respiratory
The balancing effects of Reflexology makes it a truly holistic and pleasant approach to healing. I do not heal the body, the body heals itself. I simply stimulate your process of self healing. This, in turn, leads to improved health and stability for you.
What happens during a Reflexology session?
All you need to do is remove your shoes and socks and relax!
I will begin to apply pressure to either your hands, feet or ears. You remain fully clothed except no shoes or socks are worn.
Other styles of Reflexology I have training in:
- RLD Reflexology
- Chi Reflexology
- Maternity Reflexology
I am a Professional Member of Reflexology New Zealand and a Committee Member of Southern Reflexology Group.
