What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?
It is a gentle art that is over 5,000 years old, which can be likened to acupuncture. However, unlike acupuncture, no needles are used.
Jin Shin Jyutsu uses the theory that all energy flows along designated energy pathways or meridians throughout our bodies. This energy can become blocked by mental, emotional and physical demands.
Jin Shin Jyutsu aims to clear these blockages, by placing one’s fingertips on a series of designated points. It is essential to maintain energy flow to halt the manifestation of physical diseases and to calm the body.

What happens during a Jin Shin Jyutsu session?
You remain fully clothed. You will lie on the massage table while I place my fingertips on a series of designated points.
A treatment session lasts for between 30-60 minutes. It is very relaxing; on occasions sleep has occurred.
In addition, there are many, easy to learn, ‘self-help’ points. Using these points between sessions will ensure that the benefits continue.
